The position is part of a research project entitled LNDetector.
LNDetector is a project that aims to create a working prototype of a computer-aided diagnosis system for lung nodule detection, segmentation and classification, based on the analysis of computerized tomography (CT) scans.
Once developed, the prototype will be introduced and evaluated in a clinical environment.
The successful candidate will develop algorithms for detection, segmentation and classification of pulmonary nodules on CT images.
- PhD in electrical, computer or biomedical engineering; informatics, or computer science
- Solid experience in machine learning or computer vision
The position is initially for 1 year.
